Mollie Parnis Dress Red Jacquard Rosette Necktie Vintage 70s

Vintage 70s Mollie Parnis red jacquard dress with rosette necktie collar. Originally sold by I.Magnin. Sheath style dress with 9" vents on each side of the bottom hem. Necktie collar with fabric rosette loop. Unlined//shoulder pads/front zipper fastener/polyester/hand wash recommended. Looks great belted (as we've shown in some of our photos, belt is NOT included). Preowned/vintage with some signs of prior use & wear: some small pencil-eraser sized shadow spots on chest area, hard to see when wearing due to floral jacquard pattern, but evident if very closely inspecting. Tagged size P, it measures laid flat: Length: 46" Shoulders: 15" Sleeves: 22" Bust: 46" Waist: 54" (again, belted looks nice!) Parnis’ most famous customer in the 1950s was First Lady Mamie Eisenhower. In the 1960s she continued to dress First Ladies, including Lady Bird Johnson and Pat Nixon.
