Mid-Century Fire King Gay Fad Small Mixing Bowl MCM Hand Painted Fruit Motif, Grapes, Peaches, Cherries, Pears, Great Condition, Clean Anchor Hocking Fire King Hand Painted by Gay Fad Studio, Fruit Motif mixing bowl with handpainted fruits in bright, clear designs on milk glass bowls by Fire King Oven Ware. One quart 7 ½” by 3 ½”, The Gay Fad studio was in Lancaster, Ohio, 1945-62, founded by Fran Taylor. She and her staff hand painted their designs onto "blank" glassware from various US glassworks, and there are only a few, small worn spots to the designs on this set.
