Navy midnight mid century swing coat
Really made for juniors so fits like an XXS/XS
Def has some aging —- vintage coloring thruout and some little
Holes on each shoulder and in the hem on one should (all shown in last three photos )
Still totally adorable tho but proced accordingly
Does include the perfect vintage fall brooch too

Is this silk? It’s a nice piece. Pre-dates junior sizing which is cool. I’ve never seen “sub teen” on s label before. I wonder if it was made in St. Louis. Teen sizing started in the garment district in St. Louis when the district was bustling with garment factories.

@dreambirdstudio thanks. I used to work in the Costume collection at a large Historical Society.
It’s not easy to find faille fabric these days. If this fit, I’d purchase…sew up those little seem splits. To hide the the small spots were there are tears, I’d put a black sharpee maker through the whole making the lining black behind the holes. That is NOT what I would do with museum pieces but it is a way to make the spots unnoticeable.
