veni_vidi_amavi @dd0802 Thank you for taking the interest in looking it up. Latin was a core beginning language for so many languages. It is considered a “dead” language now because every other language that developed since has become more widely used and prevalent..French, Italian, Spanish and I believe Portuguese? Studying Latin allowed me to recognize words in many languages. (I can dazzle people without actually knowing all the languages 😂) Now if only my Greek mythology would come in handy for something…
