Front pockets give it a 1940s retro vibe which was so popular in the early 80s. 1940s revival was a trend that is notable on today’s runways. The dress is very Carmen Miranda. Beautiful workmanship and tailoring. The dress is also lined. Made in West Germany. That means it was made pre-1990 and probably, based on the style, between 1980 - 1985.
