Black and soft white, not blinding white, but not off-white or ivory. This fabric is really hard to explain. It's 3-D like tweed and jacquard but inside out it it looks more like a knit (see last photo). It's also stretchy like a mid-weight stretch-knit dress. The raised black of the dress gives this some sweater-dress like qualities, but it's not that either. This dress is really great. Usually when I open shipments (I pick styles but sizes are random) I will occasionally take something. The box of these caused me to dig for my size immediately. This dress is wonderful.
