Kromer Vintage Welding Hat Cap 7.5 Union Made UNITE 90s Y2K Snails Flowers Black

Vintage Kromer welding hat. Size 7 1/2. UNITE union tag, this garment union existed from 1995 - 2004. Six panel style with balloon top that is great for folks with a lot of hair. Abbreviated brim similar to an engineer or cycling cap. Black background with white polka dots and a psychedelic array of rainbow color smiling snails in party hats, sunglasses and other rad accessories. Ladybugs and flowers round out the crew. Exterior is in excellent condition, like new. Colors are bright and the fabric still has that starchy feeling from the factory. The inside sweatband shows it was worn a bit, with light discoloration and pilling across the forehead area only. Union tag is crisp and unwashed. Cool piece of workwear history!
