bethmgold @mdbrodney 🥰 I'm not sure if you've seen the post on my dog. A real who saved who. I had a craniotomy in 2013 to remove a brain tumor. Benign, but my head was shaved & I had 31 staples in my head. I was so depressed & wouldn't leave my apt. My roommate told me it was time to get another dog (the last one died the year before) so I got my boy at the shelter, who was scheduled to be euthanized 4 days in a row.

muffin153 @mbrodney Your dog is so sweet! I grew up with rescues too! This is going to show my age-before there was an Internet, we had a local TV channel that had a show on that the SPCA sponsored. It was called “Meet the Pets”. I would watch it every Saturday afternoon when I was growing up. One Saturday there was the most precious Black Lab/German Shepherd mix with the cutest floppy ears. I yelled for my dad to come look at her. He brought her home after work one day as a surprise. I named her Chloe.

muffin153 @mdbrodney He was! And he loved animals! I know he would have loved having a farm….he built a chicken coop before it was cool 😂 The rooster would wake up our entire neighborhood. We had geese, guineas, rabbits, ducks, dogs, cats, 2 fish aquariums (one was mine for making straight As). It was “Wild Kingdom” at our house…..
