kreativekristen @zapandzam I used gummy forms, check the ml because tea has very little echinacea in it, if you do the research, when an infection flare comes about taking echinacea for a few days help your circulate move the infection thru your bloodstream to be cleaned.

mountainmomsoap @zapandzam If you want to take a natural pain medicine I take white willow bark for pain because I don’t like taking regular pain medicine . It will help fight inflammation naturally where needed 💜 I order my vitamins on Vita cost too it’s so much cheaper than regular health food stores .

onceuponakind @zapandzam Internal use - tumeric does wonders to fight inflammation and external - lavender & tea tree essential oils help combat pain. You could also try a poultice of sorts-garlic/onion (& a fast one to get blood to the area to aid in circulation though be warned, go sparingly as it will heat up...is cayenne pepper{paste w powder & carrier oil, EO also w carrier oil} Feel better soon!!!

kreativekristen @zapandzam butting into ongoing conversations ( we are after all family ;) I am a believer in Turmeric, I take high dose ibuprofen but try to limit what I take and have found that taking turmeric ( with my dr approval has reduced my ibuprofen intake by half… Tumeric takes about a month to become effective , do you research about dosage. I have granulomatosis with polyangiitis ( GPA) a rare auto immune disease.

lulusfringe @kreativekristen @zapandzam Now I’m butting in lol Family after all 🥰 Also pepper necessary for turmeric to be absorbed properly otherwise not effective- I do tea nightly With turmeric I boil the roots And add a pinch of cayenne pepper With some lemon and honey 😘 Very helpful actually And I have severe arthritis in my hands

kreativekristen @lulusfringe learning to deal with pain is all inclusive, Tumeric with curcumin ( what is in the pepper that makes it an asorberent) at least that how I understood it , from the arthritis dr. who is the specialist that monitors my granulomatosis with polyangiitis ( GPA), since kidneys seem to be the weakest in ANCA related G P A , and I won’t take narcotics, the less ibuprofen I use the better, so 2000 mg a day of the Tumeric blend.although your tea might be good for my throat and sinuses.

kreativekristen @lulusfringe agreed, my dr and I agree that keeping life in balance helps me, the right food, rest and exercise… when I mess with that the flares show up… the joke is I need a life lived between 62 and 82 degrees, now that’s a challenge for me.
