Hand-carved Painted Batik Topeng Indonesian Style Wooden Mask Bird Headdress This is an awesome Hand-carved and hand Painted Batik Topeng Indonesian Style Wooden Mask with a Bird Headdress. The mask is made from extremely soft and light wood and has intricately applied patterns that are hand painted in the Batik Topeng Indonesian Style which is the same style that is used in fabric painting. There is an intricately carved bird at the apex of the carved headdress. The back and top backside are painted with stylized SUN icons on a brown field. This mask is from Bali. This mask is a larger version of what is out there measuring approximately 12.5" high by 9' across and has a hanging string on the back. The mask is in great condition with only minor wear. This is a Stunning example of Indonesian art and would add a worldly appeal to any decor.
