Well, after my hubby and daughters 🙄😆 our youngest daughter started Vet school, so I thought I should have a dog! Never had one before! Think my personality causes that! 😂 I'm so glad you found your fur babies! I can't even watch animal rescue shows anymore, they break my heart! I never understood why people acted like they did over their dogs...well that changed! ☺️

thechicbohemian Seattle weather generally sounds right up my alley, @onisifora. My favorite color's yellow, but give me a gray day and a cup of steaming chai & a good book (in my fantasy, of course), and I'm at peace. Of course, if my dogs are laying in the armchair with me, too. And my LIKE list is quite long as well. I think I'll go in from time to time with weed through it.

Speaking of uk designers, I have a couple of Hobbs dresses, which I'm going to list one day. For some people Hobbs or Jaeger seem too classic, but I really like them, especially those lines called Hobbs NW3 and Boutique by Jaeger with kind of a modern twist... Unlike a like, yes, it's simple as that! Very useful function ;)

Designers sell their wares, estate sales, artists from all walks, vintage clothing and jewerly, OOAK pieces, refinished furniture -- you name it.

Take note of your body type -- what styles flatter your best features, for example. I'm not a fan of showcasing my naturally athletic arms, so if I go sleeveless, it's got to be with a halter or narrow-indented-sleeveless neckline, to help elongate my arms. I'm also conscious of age-approrpriate (for ME - there is no judgement about anyone else's style at any age if they're confident and comfortable) attire -- I don't do ultra-frilly or too short a skirt, unless it's a bodycon with a streamlined look.

lavenderfarm @teresamckevitt She truly is, I sometimes go through all of her posts just to catch a few crumbs from her marvelous verbiage(that's a word I picked up from her as well)I think the best way to describe her closet is that her closet is like a time machine, it's filled with goodies that have been whisked from a beautiful victorian Era and if you were to talk to her, she'd transport you to the Era where people talked poetic English. purplediva84 @prelovedworks My cats were rescue kittens and put up for adoption by a no kill agency. Ava, my female tabby, is a TOTAL diva and EXTREMELY talkative. I nicknamed her "Diva." When I adopted the male cat, his name was "Lover." Could you imagine me calling for him, "Here, 'Lover, Lover?!'" 😂 NOPE! I changed his name to "Bugsy," since he likes to chase bugs. He's also my shadow. He has some hints of Siamese characteristics; but, overall he's a sweetheart and my free entertainment. 💘

thechicbohemian @fire172 -- yes -- it's a great idea to get yourself either a used dressform (they can be very pricey new, and if this isn't a full-time endeavor, it make not make sense), or a half-mannequin, like I've got, which I purchased on E--- for about $60. It's helpful, so that you needn't model your own clothes, and so people have an idea what the items will look like, worn.

It's lovely to virtually meet you, and I'm happy to help you navigate this wide forum you embarked on what'll likely be a new (but eventually tapered off & managed) addiction -- trust me! :) "EUC" = Excellent Used Condition, "VGUC" = "Very Good Used Condition" -- the latter of which I typically will NOT list an item if it's in that condition (the faux leather jacket is the one exception, as it's in mint condition save for the small flaw noted).

We got him a friend who was dumped at the pound after just giving a litter of puppies too. They get along well enough with the kitties, one of those came to us in a car engine, the other in a dumpster. They all have their own little stories! 😉❤

fifig23 Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL! Our rescue fur-baby is the light of my husband's and my life and he has brought us so much joy every single day we have had the gift to call him ours. He keeps us present (he does NOT like the computer and constantly tries to push it off my lap so he can jump into my lap! I love it!). Keep sharing your own listings twice daily, and pick 10 closets to introduce yourself to, and perhaps 5 new Poshers to welcome, daily, if time permits. Then share their listings -- not the entire closet - just a few things you feel closely resemble your own aesthetic, or super interesting. Visibility is as important as relationships here. :)

I have two on my block who I'm always so excited to see -- "Charlie," a massive blue pibble, and his even more enormous brother, who's a gentle giant, "Sam," whose head is literally 2.5X the size of mine. On another note, I JUST this morning lowered to the extra clearance price you see on that pair &won't be reducing further, so you're under zero pressure to buy; they retail for $295 and in limited supply in the sizes listed. Really weird and tragic accident since he was always used to take long walks in summer with my husband! 😔 I see your dogs and I remember him! He was the best dog I ever had and I suffered him like if I would have lost my own kid! I wish yours they last forever and you enjoy them fully! ❤️

thechicbohemian @pky047 Honestly? I suppose take great care to ensure future items sent out are in sound condition. They literally broke apart in an hour and a half - same day as delivered. I was mortified, as I was at dinner with a client. I'd honestly never experienced anything like that. The more you sell, the more your ratings won;t be affected by mine. I couldn't in good conscious do anything else - I had already accepted them.
