Gorgeous Vintage French Curio Miniature Vitrine/Armoire with Shelves and Colored Glass Inserts This is an incredibly Gorgeous & Adorable Vintage French Curio Miniature Vitrine/Armoire constructed from a brass or bronze metal alloy with built in to fit metal Shelves clear glass on the front and Colored Glass Inserts cut to fit on the side panels. The side glass inserts are colored blue and green and may have been added at a later time but look perfect for this overall design. There is also a mirror that is inserted into the back door which is swivel hinged to the back and opens and closes shut perfectly with a snap lock. Everything on this piece is in almost perfect condition with only minor wear on the mirror, which still holds a fabulous reflection considering its age. The piece stands on 6 scroll paw feet with embossed and sculpted baroque styling throughout. It can hold small items like jewelry or keepsakes. The piece measures approximately 7.5” tall by 5” wide by 2.5” deep. Compared to many pieces in this genre, this one is in excellent antique, working condition with no anomalies. It can be polished up if so desired. The patina is gorgeous as it is with no pitting or rust. This is such a wonderful piece.
