Attention: knitters and menders... Size 8 St. John sheath dress in a va-va-voom cherry red knit with some subtle metallic red yarns in there for spice. From Spring 2009. Made in USA. Dress needs repair - it has one long snag with a broken yarn across the back skirt area below the seat (11 inches up from the hem). A long tail of yarn is there to work with. A second adjacent yarn is pulled but not broken. The knitting is kind of complex, I am not equal to the task. Make an offer! Sleeveless. Low scoop neck with two rows of ruffled satin ribbon trim. Midi length. Back zip. Knit has stretch. Dress is photographing hot on the "tomato" side of red, but the color is a true neutral-to-cool cherry red. She is Christmas, she is Valentines! Measurements unstretched: Pit to pit 17.5" Waist 15.25" Center back length 39" Dress looks clean to the eye, but does need to be dry cleaned. There is a little dust in and around the ruffles. No stains. Armpits in great condition. Trims firmly attached. There is a snip in the tag, under the "N" in St. John. Minimal signs of wear other than that one obvious flaw.
