These are a closet staple, for real. I love them but these are a size too big for me. So I actually own this same pair of shorts in the next two sizes down for different looks. They are high waisted (11" rise) and fit nice around the bum but a bit looser at the thigh which is perfect for girls with thick thighs like me or who just don't want a skin tight look. With a 3" inseam, they are just long enough to not be too revealing too. They have 4 functional pockets that are all actually deep enough to use, hallelujah! And the 97% cotton, 3% elastane means these stretch with you which is so important in the sweaty summer months, but somehow they hold their shape over time. Seriously these shorts are so comfortable, durable, and versatile and the fact that I own them in multiple colors and sizes is evidence that they are truly love worthy. These are black with no fading (never dried in dryer) and no signs of wear, no flaws.
