I'm not like that but if I like something I hang on as long as I can to them. I just can't wear heels unless they are stacked and very comfy. I had to sell all of them. Heartbreaking.

lmpasternack @acufox soooo I think I have bronchitis. I had a chest cold, was pretty much over it, got the damn flu shot and now have a horrible cough and feel crummy. I hate antibiotics so I tried some oil of oregano sublingually and some Slippery Elm (somehow I was thinking that helps the lungs as well as stomach issues) am I right? Any recommendations?

acufox Do you have a dry cough? Hard to expectorate? Slippery elm is good for this, oil of oregano is good for any infection. You need to drink a lot of fluids (chicken soup, lots of tea with raw honey and lemon). The best cough remedy is Chinese herb "chuan bei mu", it's very $$ and kind if hard to find but it works better than antibiotic. Ask your acupuncturist. I can also send you some if you promise to take it(it's not disgusting, in fact you cook it inside a pear and then eat a pear with the herb and it's quite good). Let me know!! (And for the record - I see a ton of patients who get sick after a flu shot sadly)

lmpasternack @acufox yes, exactly! Even sounds kind of crackle like sometimes. It's like I need to get the junk out but it doesn't want to come out. Darn! I would have added some extra money to the shoe order and had u ship the herb with them... If I can handle this horrid oil of oregano I can handle anything. I know it is a natural antibiotic so I figured I would try it before going to the dr. Of course it flared my fibro up I think or I'm just getting really sick cuz I ache all over.,, chills, sweating, etc.

acufox That's precisely what happens after a flu shot - flare up of fibro. I am not here to preach (honest!) but consider not doing the flu shot and just fortify your immune system for the winter. I never get it and my parents stopped them a few years back after I nagged them about side effects. I will send you the herbs with instructions tomorrow and don't worry about the $:)

lmpasternack @acufox OMG r u sure? You are too kind! I had to get it every year along with a ton of other vaccines while in the Navy. One yr I didn't and I got the flu, holy crap I thought I was gonna die! My immune system needs a good kick in the butt to start working properly again!!! I had a feeling I shouldn't get that damn shot! I'm taking your advice for next year, I promise.

acufox It's just too scary to me, just my opinion. I never get a flu shot, ever. Once I had a horrible flu and was laid down for 2 weeks. But once in my whole life. I am good as new though after it. I think you can do a lot of things to prepare - get some sleep, regular exercise, food, acupuncture and herbs. But I want you to feel comfortable making this choice for yourself. Just sharing my thoughts :)

What's the best way to deal with people who make offers that you feel are too low? For instance, I had something priced at 54 and someone offered 25. That's crazy to me, but am I thinking about it wrong? Then another thing priced at 25 and someone offered 15. I fully figure that I'll discount around 20%, particularly in a bundle but what about individual items? How do you handle it? Just hoping to pick some of your brains and your experience! Thanks so much!!!

nineve @mloconnor8 personally, I think lowballing is incredibly rude. It it's a ridiculously low offer I usually ignore. Discount in items depends in how you price to start with. Lots of people offer big discounts by overpricing their items to start with. Or if you price something at its lowest from the start you can just let people know prices are as listed. I struggle a lot myself with discounting. People "expect" it. But I don't want to raise all my prices just to give a fake discount. That seems kinda dirty. But to each their own.

I told the 54/25 person that I'd just keep the item and give as a gift if it didn't sell at close to asking price. I haven't responded to the 25/15 person yet but I did search similar items and they all sold for 25-28 each. I think based on that that my price is fair. Maybe I'll just tell her if she bundles I can do 20% which brings it to 20....I'm very cool with that. Just wanted to bounce my thoughts off someone who sells so much! Thanks again!😘

And I do discount bundles usually 10-15% not any higher do to the fact that they weigh more and I usually pay extra shipping. I think it's ok to negotiate with people within a $5-10 per item depending on how badly you want to sell it otherwise say no thank you! 😉

acufox @teern Chinese herbal remedies are very complex actually, took another 2 years of post graduate study just for the herbs. Very fascinating. For example - there are gazillions ways to treat a cold (chills and mild sore throat versus high fever and severe sore throat versus dry cough and wet cough - all completely different). I would not recommend self treatment because these herbs are as strong as drugs and can even have side effects (if the tx is wrong). But there are home remedies that are pretty universal and can be cooked as medicinal food like ginger, scallions, I can look up the books on that :)

acufox @teern I don't know about agave much but honey is naturally anti-microbial (anti viral and anti bacterial, notice how it never goes bad!) and it has expectorant properties. It's also very nourishing if you ignore the high glycemic index 😜 Lori, you make me blush!!!

lmpasternack @teern wow, that is fabulous that you are getting your nurse practitioner degree. I was just kidding around about my Navy time. It was a great life. I still have dreams almost nightly about my active duty life. I challenged myself wherever I went and loved every job, I had a few bad bosses but took those as life lessons on what NOT to do, I had the opportunity to teach the Navy Leadership Course to Chief Petty Officers. That was a challenge very day but was a lot if fun as well. I worked with so many stellar people there, it was just amazing! Oh, so many stories I could tell. 😳😱😊 Such great memories. Trust me I so appreciate what you do too. My mom and dad both died from cancer so I know how hard your job must be! More later.... 😘

lmpasternack @nineve I didn't upset you by selling the Free People jacket to shannah did I? I know what it is like when u fall head over heels for something and can't find it. It was a bit snug on me anyway so I figured it was the nice thing to do. I spend hours searching for my favorite Issey Myake discontinued perfume only to see people try to sell this one time 40-60 dollar bottle for 200 or more. They are nuts! I love it but I may have to go "perfume shopping" to find a similar scent. I didn't want her to have to find a similar jacket when she loves the one i have.

I miss my family do bad, my sister lives in CT, her hubby is Navy too. I grew up in PA and my parents are gone but my dear cousins are up there, we are very close, I just wish I could get them to come down here to visit. I live in VA, near Norfolk and Virginia Beach. My hubby got a good civil service job after he retired so here we stay for now... I want to move back up north but my hubby is an avid golfer, so he likes the moderate temps down here. I love my Scentsy, I'm always changing the scent in the house. I mix up some of them too like the minty Whiteout one and Bora Bora Blossom in the same room, one plug in and one regular warmer. I'm getting creative. One girl just buys the samples I make and just tosses whatever she grabs and mixes them up for her Scent if the Day. I love it! I will tell you the Cream a Tulip lampshade collection warmer is truly elegant, one of my all time favorites but u can't do combine and save with that one... Bummer. The Gallery Collection is great too, you can change out the magnetic frame to one of soooo many. For 7 bucks u can change the look of your warmer at any time. I'm a primitive country decor girl at heart and I'm drawn to both the loom and birdcage wrap....decisions, decisions, but I know the lampshade will fit in with my decor too 😯 oh what shall I pick???

lmpasternack @teern I really like the silhouette because of the wrap options. 12 bucks and u have a whole new warmer. That is what I like so much, plus, the pretty glow it has. If u have more country decor I would do that one. Did u see the red wrap for Christmas? It is on my Facebook page, I tagged you to check it out. I have 3 wraps for mine already. That collection will keep growing, guaranteed. 😘 So, those are my thoughts on it. Hope that helps sweetie.

I will continue to study that closet of yours and get something going here for big momma (me...lol) For some odd reason, now everyone is calling me back from messages and I am doing some work things, but am back and forth between that and here. I don't want to lose any comment questions so I'm wanting to pay attention. I'm going to go put on a thin BCBG type of top and will go into the Posh room (that's what my bf and friends call it because only I allowed in there unless James is helping me out. Basically , it is my way of keeping that door closed from any pet inside.) and try that pearl jacket on. I saw a question about it. Oddly enough as I shared that listing and there I want to say was another one that I don't like the cover photo on. I think I looks stiff and holding wrinkles. It isn't like that so this works out great. I just love your closet! Are we by chance neighbors? I have a couple of friends that we want to be in at least the same neighborhood. lmpasternack @donnamag get the heck outta town!? Shamokin is such a great little town, so family oriented, everyone knows everyone, but in a good way. I left there when I was 17, right after high school. Tell her I went to Our Lady of Lourdes High School. Class of 83. I went home at least once a year but my parents are both gone now and my sister married a Navy guy and lives in Groton, CT for now. Ironically enough, that is where I was stationed in 95 when I met my husband. We have been together since. Is her last name Vivaldo? If so, is she related to Cathy Vivaldo Kline? Anyway... I stayed there for several months in 2007-2008 to take care of my mom who had cancer. She was diagnosed in Nov 2007 when my sister and I went to visit (we surprised her) and her face swelled up and I made her go to the doctor, which I found out she hadn't been in 4 yrs. ugh! Stubborn woman. Anyway, it was lung cancer that metastasized to her brain. So, she had brain swelling of course, so was put on heavy steroids to get the swelling down, then radiation, but she only lived until Feb 19th, the day after her 77th birthday. And the DAY OF her birthday party she wanted, catered, everything. We had that party anyway, if we didn't she would have come back and haunted me and my sister. But every family member was there for her party from out of town. My hubby, sister, cousins, etc. we made the best of it. 😢 it was tough. So my maiden name is Shaffer, she may have known my mom and dad, Robert and Miriam. Or she may know some of her friends, Arlene Rosini maybe? U will have to ask her. Crazy small world!!!

Met her while we were in graduate school in Boston! Out of touch but she was in my wedding.. She also left out of hs, but can't remember where she was before Boston! lmpasternack @donnamag ok I think the new Element warmer called Carrey is the closest to Tiffany Blue. That way there is no light bulb to mess with. It is a new line and it is nice and small for small spaces. It actually says I'm the description that these are great for dorm rooms. There r 4 to choose from. I think 3 out of the 4 would work for her and I have all of them in stock.

lmpasternack @agnesrose yes, it's the worst!!! But I'm watching football too, the Pats game of course, with my hubby. Still doing eye drops, not as many times per day but 4 drops every 4 hours... No biggy. It is looking better again, hopefully this go round of oral antibiotics will kick it! I will give the little growler a kiss later after he wakes up, he bit me when I kissed him a few years ago and yeah, my lip was dangling off, ER visit, stitches, lots of blood, etc. I don't kiss him much anymore, ha! His beloved toy was next to him too, I did not know that. He brings his toy for his breakfast and dinner, every single day, is that the cutest thing ever? He was not treated well wherever he was before he ended up dumped in our neighbor's yard, 6 foot privacy fence, he didn't get there on his own. We have had him almost 5 years now. He has hip dysplasia and now this eye issue. Poor guy. 😞

I was a tomboy, played hoops, ran track, was a cheerleader (and in to gymnastics but I learned it through cheerleading, my little town had no gymnastic anything then) but my hubby is from CT so he is a Pats fan. careygirl Ladies! I need some opinions/advice/ears for venting please! I have a lady who seems to be a fairly new posher (based on her number of followers/following) who is going through my closet commenting on various items that I am not charging enough, and has commented on SOLD items that it was too much. At first I answered her polite/nonchalantly, but I really find this inappropriate, and if it continues want to tell her to stop. Have any of you had similar situations and if so how did you handle? I've been so blessed to have drama free poshing to date, and would really like to keep it that way !!!!

I left those inserts in because wearing them with bare feet is awful, they stick to your feet without them. If u take them out, use some alcohol or goo be gone to get the sticky stuff out.

lmpasternack @jenn_m u bought them huh? Now ya know the appeal. I love the denim. I'm crazy in love with them!!! Once you figure out what style works best try to grab them when u see them for a good deal cuz they change the styles all the time so they r hard to find. Ugh. I like the Stevie on me but I don't want all skinny straights in them and I have a hard time finding others. But I got some 5 pocket pants in that style just The Stevie but in regular cotton with some stretch vs denim. They are probably my favorite pants right now. My body changes constantly so it's like... Well these r on top of the STACKS of pants and jeans for now. Ha! Anyway, I'm so happy you like them. If u go to the AG website it will give you the cut of each style including measurements so u know what style that will work best on you. I want a pair of their 360 degree jeans. But I am gonna try them on in a store before looking on posh later. Unless I binge on them. More to come on that. 😊 I'm so glad u like them. And I have another stack to go get hemmed. Dammit I'm lazy about some things. 😐😯

So, if you do all 3 items I would do it for 80. The total is 107 and I want you to have it so I took 25% off of the total. I quoted you at 32 or 33 for the 2 items. Close to va beach and Norfolk, Hampton and Williamsburg. Pretty area but the traffic is insane. Have you considered looking for a roommate in NC? Roommates.com I believe is one resource. I'm also considered unemployable. So I understand that feeling you have. And I can walk and drive. But every time I drive it hurts my neck so bad I end up needing help getting around. Once my neck flares up, it flares up my fibro, and on goes the horrid circle. I just put up my "posh day off" listing on top of my closet when I can't handle even holding my phone or typing on my iPad. Ugh!!! It's horrible and I know there are lots of support groups on Facebook and online. You can reach out to those groups so you can talk about things and don't feel alone. Of course I'm always available on here. Just like one of my listings in my closet. Like this one for example. K? 😊 I'm so glad you are ok. That's most important. 😘

If I'm treated badly by someone I report them and block them. It happened once where someone knowingly posted something to antagonize me. And I got one terrible bundle in over two years. I just read some of the poshers sold items info. It will tell you a lot. If they made other people unhappy they will do it to others. I buy frequently from the same people I trust too. Also, if you search "suggested user" you will find more honest poshers. They have not been reported for anything bad and the closet is reviewed thoroughly for interactions with others. I was blessed enough to be chosen as one. I try to treat others the way I want to be treated and ensure I describe any flaws or wear. I also only sell things I would want to receive, I donate the things that are more worn. I will always be honest to you. If I ever miss anything it is never, ever on purpose. Anyway, I hope you are very happy with your boots and earrings. 😘😘😘 I can't wait for you to get them. I just hope there isn't dog hair on the suede boots just from packing them. I was hurrying so please forgive me if there is. 🙏🐾❤️🐶 PS-I don't trade often at all. I felt you were honest, if I didn't I would not have done it no matter how much I want something. I would write to them and u can use this screenshot email. I don't think it's right that you paid for priority shipping and it took like 5 days. Ridiculous! USPS needs to be held accountable.

She said she only gives inseam but since size tag was missing she'll give the waist, nothing else becos it's a waste of her time (WHAT?!) She offered the measurements but never gave them. How can she be a suggested user with that lack of attitude/respect/information? I told her I was sorry I bothered her :)

shoeznstuff I was wondering if anyone had any advice I emailed posh 7×s about this:"I got an email from posh saying not to ship an order I had already shipped at 1030am yesterday.The order was canceled by posh bc the buyers add or pay info was not verified.I marked this item shipped in the app.How do I get my item back or get paid?The item was sold around 9pm.I shipped atleast 13.5hrs after the item was sold. I got the email 6 hrs after I shipped and marked the item shipped on the app."
