The bottom is a little misshapen due to how it was stored in my closet but should flatten out after the bag is filled and used. Truly a gorgeous bag! The inside is open with 2 pockets along the front of the handbag for keys or small cell phone, etc. and there is a zippered pocked along the back side of the inside of the purse.
