Traditional Eastern European White & Brown Embroidered Top & Skirt OS

Traditional Eastern European embroidered top and skirt set, One Size. Handmade outfit is soft, slightly nubby white cotton, with intricate cross-stitch patterns in brown, tan, and gold. Blouse has vertical bands of embroidery at front, set off by narrower zigzag pattern. Sleeves are heavily embroidered in square and triangle patterns. Billowy, loose top has scoop neck with drawstring, making fit adjustable. Cuffs of sleeves are also adjustable with drawstring. Skirt is plain, with two bands of openwork, eyelet style embroidery at the bottom, side slit, and a lace hem. Waistband has a not-very-stretchy elastic band that can be adjusted to fit whatever size is desired (see unstretched measurements, below). There are two tiny blue spots on the skirt back (last photo), not very visible when worn. Otherwise EUC. Perfect for celebrating cultural traditions and events, or use as costume. No tags, but design and construction is typical of Slavic nations, such as Ukraine, Romania, and the Czech Republic. Bought by family member and never worn.
