vintage 1940’s Plasticflex brown clutch purse handbag

Vintage and preowned but in very good condition. Clean and well stored. Zipper works perfectly. There is one of the plastic squares that is cracked – I pictured this. A wonderful example of 1940s wartime creativity- fashion from easily accessible materials. Reminds me of squares of a large chocolate bar. The outside is squares of plastic laced together with some kind of cord. The inside feels like a satiny polyester. The handbag measures about 7 inches by 11 1/2 inches.
