5 Antique G S Zell Germany Majolica Hand Painted Plates - Raised Basket Weave Raised Pomegranates Fruit Scene For your consideration are four antique G S Zell salad plates. The plates have a raised basket weave background pattern with a raised pomegranate on the branch scene. The plates are hand painted. Hard to find, gorgeous plates! The bottoms are marked G S Zell Germany. Also impressed 2723 L. The size is 8 1/2" in diameter. The condition is very good to excellent with one or two very tiny dot paint chips. One plate has paint chip on rim. There are no other chips, no cracks and no crazing.
