berkiehall such a cute family!....cont from our other convo.... bro k used to preach for us in colby ks where the pastor back then was bro Scott McGuire. my sister is tera elder. she married Larry elder and she goes to church in Salina. I moved from there about 11 years ago I think and went to a more conservative church in oklahoma where my brother and grandma were going until I married my Louisiana country boy 😉 we now live in arkansas with our 3 kids and go to an apostolic church here!

I actually haven't been to any big meetings like that for awhile. our church in la hosted a huge anniversary service every year and we went to youth camp and other churches anniversary services alot but other than that I don't go to anything....3 little kids makes it hard to travel too far or too much!

latinamommy1 @berkiehall girl I feel you. 2 little ones being small.. a 4 our trip turned into 5 1/2 To 6 hrs 😂 you have definitely traveled to different states! That’s awesome. I live to travel to see different cultures and meet different people. One day, if the Lord tarries I would like to do missionary, maybe once the little ones are older we could do CORPS that be amazing!

latinamommy1 @berkiehall 😂 I told my husband the reason I’m curvy is because of chocolate 🍫 😆 chocolate 🍫 is my sin 🙈 it’s definitely hard to loose weight once your older it isn’t like when I was young at all.. I’m really trying and man it’s hard! So I definitely feel you there!

I have a hard time knowing how to work that app. Maybe bc I don’t get on it enough? Im not sure 🤔 but yes I’ll keep an eye out for sure!!

berkiehall @latinamommy1 a serger is similar to a sewing machine but it finishes the edges of the fabric. it like puts loops of thread around the cut edges so the fabric doesnt fray. and I will definitely let you know if I make it through that way! and I'll bring stuff with me and give you and ur friends a good deal!

berkiehall @latinamommy1 um I took a year of home ec in high school and I kinda learned the basics there but I actually got started right before I got married cuz a friend had been sewing her own stuff and she was doing good and told me how she makes her own pattern off of clothes she has so I started messing around with it some and started upcycling old clothing and then my grandma gave me her machine and it just gave me wings! I've been sewing for the past 6 years or so and I love it

berkiehall @latinamommy1 the sticks are prolly easier and cheaper to start with...if u made some up to sell, you could save up for a good machine. I hate buying used sewing machines unless u know who you are buying from cuz u never know how well it will work. just an idea for you!

latinamommy1 @natnats4 would you be able to bundle a price for a few? Do you make them strong to last? I’m sorry I don’t want that to offend.. in the past when I first got in church I bought some from another apostolic lady and the tops just fell off. Another time the stick broke in half 🙈 it doesn’t look like it but I have very very thick hair.. and I normally need two sticks in my hair at a time, so I want them too last. Since I’m not made out of money 🙂
