Y2K Effanbee 16" Belle of the Ball Brenda Starr #V2004 (2000) EUC w/Box

Red-haired doll wears a full-length ball gown with sleeveless, fitted satin bodice and peplum decorated with floral designs rendered in applied beading. The peplum, longer in back than in front, covers a full, billowing skirt of multiple layers. The top layer (a fine, teal-green netting) is decorated with applied flowers of sequins and beads. The remaining underskirts are chiffon: one in deep aquamarine, the other in blue. The crinoline underneath is of a soft, iridescent purple netting. Brenda has a matching wrap and wearing black stockings, garders, and underpants. Her shoes are lace-ups decorated with the same beading as the peplum. She wearing similar beading as a pin in her upswept, red hair. A necklace of “aquamarines” and a “diamond” arranged in a floral pattern and a beaded purse complete the ensemble.
