ejgriffiths @tillysilly It is just a small piece of twine/rope that affixed tag to shoe. It just needs cut off. I can remove and update photo when I get home this evening. Good eye and thank you for question.

ejgriffiths @tillysilly I am typically a 9 so I would say these fit true to size. If you have an narrow foot you might find them too wide. I have a normal to slightly wide foot so they fit me well.
