Wilton Carousel Cake Stand & Separator Set- Vintage 1982- Rare Everything you need is included to build a classic carousel cake with pillars and horses. With the separator plate, create a tiered carousel cake. Add as much decorating detail as you like using icing or fondant trims. Set includes: 2- 10 in. round plates- one clear acrylic, one white plastic (both stamped with Wilton 1979), 4- 4 " Pillar Bases with Carousel Horses (2 brown and 2 white), 2 strong 10 in. cardboard circles protect serve ing plates and make icing cakes easier. Use 8 " round pan to bake top tier, 10 " or 12 " round pan for base tier. Cakes shown are 3 " deep but can also bake double layers for each tier. Carousel top can be purchased separately or made using a dowel and string or red licorice. Condition: New, from 1982 stock. Never used/ Horse columns are still in original packaging. I removed the set from the original packaging that had ripped in storage and in order to photograph. See photos for details (the epoxy on the column ends has yellowed some which can be covered with frosting detail, there is some residue from old tape on one of the cardboard circles under the doily, all old tape has been removed although bottom of each cardboard circle shows where tape was placed). None of these issues would affect the finished product.
