Willie Brown Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits high school football jacket Jacket is from Brown's 2008 hall of fame induction ceremony Great heavyweight jacket with leather sleeves Measurements: Length 28" Pit to pit 28" Long Beach Poly alum & 1959 CIF Football Player of the Year. Brown shared the Poly backfield with Dee Andrews as a junior, & when Andrews went down with injury during the 1958 playoffs, Brown stepped up. He scored 4 touchdowns & gained 106 yards on 17 carries in the 31-19 championship game win at the L.A. Coliseum. Poly went 22-0-1 during Brown's junior & seniors season while winning 2 championships. At USC, Brown was All-Conference where he won a football national championship in 1962, & a baseball title in 1963. He spent 3 years in the NFL with the LA Rams (1964-65) & Philadelphia Eagles (1966), & then returned to USC as an assistant football coach (1968-75) & an assistant baseball coach (1969-70).
