A quality constructed pair of super functional, lace up hiking boots. Made for comfort and longevity with a leather and nubuck upper and a Vibram sole. Padded leather ankle shaft, padded suede-lined tongue, and two pairs of inserts (one appears to be wool and is sewn to a gripper sole) will make them comfortable. 5" shaft measurement is from top of heel to top of rear ankle. Size tested and fit pretty true to size, not as narrow as expected and should fit regular-to-narrow widths. In pristine vintage condition, clean with negligible signs of wear; laces and hardware are solid - even the soles are clean! Quickly shipped, ready to wear !
