**Does not come with the box shown in photos. This is a vintage 1958 hat made by Lecie in the calot style in what I believe to be its original hat box and receipt: purchased from Washer Bros in Fort Worth, TX. Size: Modern Small Condition: Very good overall, with no major structural flaws or missing elements. The netting is falling off on one side but is easily reattached. STYLE This calot hat embodies the classic mid-century millinery style with its brimless, close-fitting rounded crown that sits neatly toward the back of the head, leaving the face and hairstyle beautifully uncovered. FEATURES Soft white fabric blossoms—likely silk or organza hydrangea-like blooms with subtle dark centers—arranged asymmetrically across the top and sides, accented by coordinating olive-green satin leaves for natural contrast. Luxurious large gold-olive satin bows crown the arrangement. DETAILS ABOUT THE MAKER Washer Bros.
