Vintage Nippon Moriage Royal Satsuma Salt Shaker Japan Asian Handpainted

Vintage  Nippon Moriage Royal Satsuma  Hatpin Holder / Sugar Shaker / Powder Dispenser / Salt Shaker / Pepper Shaker Japan Asian Handpainted Is this a hatpin holder, is it a salt, sugar or powder shaker? When I got it from an estate, I was told it was a hatpin holder.  Use it as you would like.   moriage beading, gold accents  stands approx.~ 2.5"h x 2.3753" diameter on the bottom.  marked on the bottom "NIPPON ROYAL SATSUMA", which is wearing away. has a cork in the bottom, which I cannot remove.     Great Vintage Condition!
