Vintage Handmade Rooster Pottery Crock France

This very cool vintage clay pottery crock is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. Perhaps it had a lid at one point, but it's hard to know for sure. The clay is has black speckles in it, and each side has a rooster in colored glaze. It sis signed. The bottom reads "MADE IN FRANCE". It's approximately 7 1/2" across and 3" deep. It's just screams hearty Provincial food!
