Vintage wooden ashtray

Not 100% sure it was intended to be an ashtray but that’s what it was used for. I scrubbed it with dawn and got a lot of the tar off of it. It’s very beautiful with metal details and a flower like design in the center. Looks like 1 spot was broken and possibly repaired. Research says it’s possibly a treen Bowl or Indian made. Nonetheless it’s very cool.
