Vintage framed 19th century reproduction South America Map by Henrici Hondy 1629. This is a highly detailed and beautifully decorated and Tinted map. Map includes vignettes with animals, natives, canoes, huts, hammocks, and also some ships / boats and sea monsters on both coasts. A compass rose is above the cartouche by the Tropic of Capricorn. A 1/4 compass rose is in the lower left corner. Map is attributed to Henrici Hondy and Dated 1629 in lower left corner. Map is 16 1/4” tall x 19” wide with non glare glass and is in very good condition. Frame is in good condition with some light scuffs no chips or cracks noted. Thanks for looking! 😊 Unable to bundle
