This listing is for a very vintage, Virgin Mary and baby Jesus planter or rose bowl. There are not any cracks, chips or repairs, however it is severely crazed, (see photos). There is also some wear on the gold trim on the back. The base on the back/bottom of the vase, there is some wear on the black edge. It is rough to the touch, but when scratched with a finger nail, it comes off and does not ruin the black paint. I think it would be safe to rub with extra fine steel wool. If the glaze is removed, you may be able to use black nail polish to restore. It measures approximately 8 1/2" inches tall, and 4" across the base, at the widest point. The back pocket was filled with a hard putty-like substance, but after photographing, I was able to play with it and remove it without leaving much residue. I imagine that back pocket filled with pink, fresh cut roses, (this does hold water without leaking). Careful packaging promised, I love to bundle. Bin 22
