Studio-made full-length hooded cloak in deep forest green wool with matching capelet overlay, dyed horn buttons, and hand-finished satin lining. The darker, tinted horn finish was favored by Los Angeles workrooms like Damon’s of San Marino for late-1970s to 1980s costume production — giving the buttons a polished, camera-friendly look.
Custom constructed for Costume Rentals Corporation (CRC) — one of Hollywood’s longest-running wardrobe houses, which dressed productions across every genre from 1976 to its closure in 2025. CRC’s archives supplied authentic period and fantasy outerwear to studios including Universal, Paramount, and Warner Bros.
This style of cloak was regularly used for fantasy and historical films, matching examples seen in Once Upon a Time, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — all CRC-credited productions that relied on their extensive cloak library.
A beautifully preserved example of Hollywood studio craftsmanship — weighty, camera-ready wool and rare dyed horn buttons that add contrast under lighting. Whether displayed as a collectible or worn, it’s a tangible piece of costume history. About 54.5” long from back bottom to center below collar
