💖 Vintage Tom's Delicious Toasted Peanuts Glass Jar with Lid

A true piece of Americana, this vintage Tom's toasted peanuts glass jar features a red-topped lid and bold matching red fired-on lettering. It was used in country stores, displayed on the counter to tempt people to buy peanuts! 😋 Display it YOUR vintage-themed kitchen, or actually use it as intended - to store snacks. This came from my late Aunt & Uncle’s country store in a small po-dunk town in Louisiana. I can vouch for the age, most likely from the 50s. It’s in very good condition for its age with little wear and tear EXCEPT for a small chip on the glass lid. See photos. I’ve place a small piece of scotch tape over it to keep the area from additional wear. You really don’t notice it that much, unless you look closely. In the close-up photos without the tape, you’ll see the chip is about 1/2 inch. Turn the chip around to the back, and the flaw “disappears.” 😉 Otherwise, the jar itself is excellent. The bottom is super smooth as is the rim of the jar. Also the bright red wording is completely in tact and so reminiscent of the “olden days.” Delicious Tom’s Toasted Peanuts An American Tradition Prop.
