Vintage Thai Silk Maxi Dress and Matching Clutch

Custom-made Star of Siam Thai silk maxi dress and matching clutch were purchased in Bangkok when the original owner traveled there in 1975. Lustrous turquoise silk has pink, purple, and blue embroidery on sleeve ends, at the hem, and framing the V-neck and mandarin collar. The dress is a vintage size 10, which corresponds to a modern size 2-4. Shoulders measure 14.25 inches across, bust measures 16.5 inches from armpit to armpit seam, waist measures 13.5 inches, hips measure 36-37 inches sleeves are 17 inches long, overall length of dress from shoulder seam to bottom hem is 57 inches.
