Vintage Sterling & Enamel Filigree Mandolin Brooch

A lovely lute or mandolin made in fine sterling silver filigree with a gold wash and accented with blue enamel. Elaborate workmanship. Measures 2.25" by 1". Marked on the back, the hallmarks are too small for me to read even with a loop. Please examine all photos. Condition: Vintage wear. Brooch is tarnished. Due to the delicate filigree and enamel, I did not attempt to clean. The pin back is bent. The strings don’t match. Safety latch is loose. SKU MZ9307
