Vintage Soap Bottle Farmer and Wife Dolls

Vintage soap bottle farmer and the Mrs dolls. This was the craze back in the day apparently. You would take an Ivory Liquid soap bottle and go to work making these beauties. The farmer doll has a floral long sleeve shirt and blue and white striped cover alls on , a straw hat and a pipe cleaner/bead pipe. The grandma is in a floral long sleeve dress and I believe that the red -orange thing over the top of her dress is an apron. Her head/face is pretty pale and white looking. It does have a few scratches in it. Their clothes are super nice. They were made very well and are very thick. They are a little dirty and will need to be wiped down with a wet towel. They are around 14" tall. Smoke free home.
