Vintage SK Wear Petite Medium Ivory Greek Greece Motif Patch Coin Tassel Sweater Vintage knit sweater featuring a distinctive Greek meander or meandros, (a decorative border constructed from a continuous line shaped into a repeated motif) embroidered lettering and symbols in a metallic threading, and small dangled golden coin embellishments. Likely from the late 80's to early 90s, the most prominent feature is the Greek key pattern along the bottom hem, the scoop/mock neckline, and the wrist cuffs; a classical motif symbolizing infinity or the eternal flow of life. The body of the sweater includes appliqued-like circular and square patches with more of the metallic threading in pastel colors like pink, purple, and teal. Longer tunic length, with shoulder pads. 55% Ramie 44% Cotton 1% Metallic This piece does have cosmetic flaws. There are age spot discolorations throughout the sweater, as shown. Some of the coins are missing. The discolorations are similarly colored to the sweater, this is just such a rare and unique piece that deserves to be celebrated! Women's size medium.
