Vintage Restaurant Ware Hotel China Creamer Mayer China Co. USA 1980s Good vintage condition on this creamer that stands 4 inches tall and holds approximately 8 fluid ounces. Pitcher is burgundy with gold trim and white on the inside. There are no chips or cracks and there is some crazing on the outside of the pitcher as well as some paint loss on the gold trim. The bottom of the creamer reads, "Made Exclusively for the Harley of New York by Mayer China Co. Beaver Falls, PA U.S.A. 482. A little history regarding The Harley of New York: The hotel opened in 1981. A Helmsley Hotel. Constructed by New York developer Harry Helmsley. The hotel's name was a combination of his first name and that of his famous wife, Leona Helmsley. The hotel was sold in 2011 and is now the Westin Hotel. Own a piece of history!
