Vintage R.M. Williams Rouseabout oilskin coat

This coat is a very handsome cotton oilskin from R. M. Williams Longhorn Australia brand. I don’t know the age but the tag is unlike the new tags and sadly it is peeling quite a bit but the R. M. Williams logo is on the back and embroidered on the front. The coat has no stains or rips but has been worn often by an elder true Maine outdoorsman who left it to my son , sadly it is too large for him. There are darker and lighter areas but it is consistent all over and add character to the coat. It was actually purchased in Australia ! I wish I knew the year but sadly I don’t. All the snaps work and again no rips . Just a rugged coat with lots of style ! The size has a 4 on the tag which I can’t figure out but I am guessing it’s a large as the owner wore a large . Measurements : 24 inches across chest armpit to armpit 33 inches long 30 inches arm length If you have any questions about this item please ask !
