Vintage Poupee Millet Skunkhead Bean Bag Doll

This vintage 2001 Poupee Millet is signed by Serge (the artist). A rare collector's item that features a skunk on the head with a beautiful matching/color fabric. This doll measures about 12 inches toes to head. This doll is like new, there are no blemishes, cracks, rips, etc... purchased and owned by one person from a pet free and smoke free home and was only displayed in a china cabinet. In 1983 the “Poupee Millet” studio opened in Paris, France with two artists: Serge Chichportich, born in Paris, France, and Pablo Pares, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Each piece is truly a work of art – individually handcrafted and hand sewn and filled with millet, featuring fanciful headdresses and a myriad of exotic fabrics. These dolls are great conversation pieces and look great displayed anywhere in your home whether it is propped up against something, sitting in or on top of something, or even in the compatible furniture by the same artist (see my other closet post for the furniture). This particular doll has a skunk on her head and a clothes pin on her nose!!
