This stylish vintage light pink wide-brimmed floppy hat features a distinctive weaved design. It is often categorized as a "Kentucky Derby" or "capeline" style, characterized by its large, dramatic silhouette and lightweight, breathable construction. The hat is crafted from a white open-weave mesh or "crinoline" material, which provides ventilation. The base of the crown on top of the brim is accented with a delicate scalloped pink mesh band and highlighted with silver metallic threading that ties the colors together seamlessly. This wide brim provides significant sun protection while adding a bold fashion statement. Perfect for sunny days and stylish mornings. The built-in elasticized chin strap provides security on breezy days. Inside lined in a white band and inside circumference is approximately 22-1/2”; crown height 4-1/2”; brim 4-1/2”. Please measure your head circumference before purchasing as the mannequin is for display purposes only and does not reflect how this hat will fit or look on you. In excellent condition. The back of the hat shows light glue residue that’s not noticeable unless closely scrutinized (see last photo). I believe there may have at one time been a bow or some other type of embellishment there. A vintage brooch can be placed over top of it,or you can hot glue your own bow or silk flowers to the back if you’re crafty. Smoke-free home.
