Lovely vintage pearl necklace in a warm ivory color. (I believe these are faux or simulated pearls - but it's hard to tell on this one.) The necklace is a 16" (plus clasp) single strand of 8mm pearls, and is beautifully knotted. The necklace is in good condition with original hook silver filigree clasp that is marked sterling. N-011

frenchy1621 Can you rub a pearl against your tooth and does it feel gritty like sand paper? It’s fresh water, not high end, like cultured but akoya which are usually marked and the clasps are most likely gold.

anelia201 It's hard to tell. They feel a little gritty. As they have a sterling silver clasp I have to assume they are of some quality.
