Vintage Natural Golden Sheen Obsidian Native Mayan Sculpture

Beautiful sculpture of a Mayan God carved and chiseled by hand from Obsidian that has a lovely golden, green iridescent sheen. This piece was crafted by an artisan in the outskirts of Tulum, Mexico. Lovely preowned condition; no chips or cracks. Light pitting consistent with natural stone. About 7" tall, 6" long, 2" wide at the base, and weighs approximately 3 lbs. Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth.
