Vintage Nasco Japan Shell Porcelain dish hand painted flowers

Vintage Nasco oyster shell shaped dish, white with delicate lavender flowers and green vine and leaf. The ribs of the shell are gilded as well as the edge. Also has the remnants of a mark in the back in gold. This vintage Shell shaped dish is as functional as it is beautiful. Would serve perfectly in your boudoir/vanity area to hold your small treasures, scented soaps in the bath, or perhaps in a guest bedroom filled with chocolate kisses for added charm.  Excellent vintage condition,some loss of gold gilt, as to be expected of vintage pieces. No cracks chips or crazing. Measures 5.5" by 5.5" and 1.75" tall. The mark in the bottom reads NASCO made in Japan.
