Vintage MIRRO Aluminum Cake Carrier Saver #2002KM w/ Locking Lid & Handle

This is a vintage MIRRO aluminum cake carrier / saver, model 2002KM. This piece consists of the base and the lid. There is a lever on the base that will lock the lid into place, allowing you to safely carry your cake by just the handle on top. You will be able to safely place any cake on the base that is less than 10" in diameter without the lid rubbing the sides. The locking mechanism is in great working order and the lid fits snug. The overall exterior dimensions are about 11.5" in diameter and 9" tall including the handle. Please note, this piece was in storage and has some issues. There are some light dents in the lid and the handle is slightly skewed to one side. The final photo also shows a close up of a crack in the under side of the plastic handle.
