Vintage Lacquered Stationary Desktop Box Set

Lacquered boxes for stationary, cards, pencils, keepsakes …, Vintage with brass hinge and closures. Hand painted. Long laptop box is 20” x 15” x 3.5” H ( in back since the box slopes for writing). Double storage box can sit on top or alone. It is 8” x 9” x 5” (at its tallest point). Two compartments in the second box. Heavily lacquered. Rarely used but definitely is deeper in tone of the lacquer over the decades.
