Vintage Nuova Capodimonte made in Italy. Porcelain pitcher style bud vase. Hand-painted in tones of brown with a single yellow flower. The bottom of the vase features the classic blue logo stamp, as well as the original tag verifying the authenticity of this coveted Italian maker. A really cool feature of this clearly handmade porcelain vase, are the finger prints visible on the yellow petals of the flower. It surely brings the authenticity factor up a notch when you have the actual finger prints for the actual artist forever preserved in the delicate petals of the flower. The vase stands just under 6 inches tall. This piece has experienced some repair on the handle, which appears to have broken off at one point. The two cracks of the handle have been repaired long ago with a glue that has turned red in one spot, please see the photos included with items circled. The damage is not noticeable when the vase is displayed, but it is important for you to know that damage is there. I have reflected the damage in the price, which is lower than most Nuova Capodimonte pieces of this style and age. Please note that you are purchasing this item in "as-is" condition.
