Vintage ITALIAN 18K Yellow Gold Bangle Bracelet, 10.7 grams

You know that piece of jewelry that your mother had that as a kid you just loved? Well this is one of my favorites of my mom. I remember putting it on over 50 years ago! Sadly it is too large for my wrist and I didn't want to have it resized like her other bracelets because it would ruin the beautiful symmetry of the design. Well it has been sitting in my jewelry box for over 10 years and it has to be worn and loved! It is 18kt Italian gold with 5 inset stones. I believe they are rubies but I am not sure. One of the stones has a crack, please look at the pictures. I didn't notice until I took the picture with my 50mp camera. I believe that my father might of purchased this for her on their trip to Italy in 1972, but it was probably purchased in the late 1950s or early 1960s when my Mom was in Italy with her parents. They don't make the like this anymore! It weighs approximately 10.7 grams, my scale is fairly accurate, but it is not a calibrated jewelry scale. This is a great deal since the gold alone is worth $1100 if you wanted to melt it down!
