Vintage Elgin Diamond Quartz Dainty Lady's Watch Japan, Original Case EK230-007

Watch works - I installed a new battery. Back of watch reads: Base Metal Bezel, Stainless Steel Back, Elgin, EK230-007, 5Y30. Black dial reads: Elgin Diamond Quartz. 15mm x 16mm x 6mm dainty case. Three gold hands & stick indices. Diamond at the 12 position. Textured pattern in gold metal 7mm wide band. Sliding clasp, marked "Japan" is adjustable for 5-1/2" to 7-1/2". The crystal glass face cover has scratches along some of the edges which can be seen with the right angle & light. The case has broken hinges, so the lid & base are separated, held together by the leather wrap. Inner lid fabric is loose at the hinges. Clear tape along the back bottom edge of the case material. Case has other signs of age & wear.
