Vintage necklace by Trifari, from the crown + copyright period (1955-1960s), signed as "Trifari © (with a small crown on 'T')" on the snap lock. Material used: - Synthetic pearl with resin base; - Trifanium, a special metal invented and put forth by Trifari, one that claims to be less easy to tarnish than other metals. Flaw: - Overall vintage wear throughout (minor dents, scratches, wear, etc.), nothing badly damaged or too noticeable; - Verdigris on almost all of the gold beads between each two pearl beads; - Wear (scratches, stain, etc.) on some of the pearls.
